About 'Still'

I almost always have a camera with me and when I do not, like most of us now, I have my phone. The images in this gallery are quiet, unplanned moments, made without a clear purpose or destination in mind. Some are simply exercises in seeing and composition; others are small details that paused me long enough to be noticed.

Photo of a fruit bowl on a table — Stepping into the dark kitchen from the gloomy outside, I notice that the only thing lit is a bowl of fruit, glowing with light from the window. It took a few attempts to get the shot the way I wanted it.

Old, brightly coloured hanging plant pots. — Captured with an old #nikond40 and a 55+200mm zoom. This old camera produces some lovely vivid colours.
